This bank office buildout features modern offices, classrooms, and conference rooms that are well-lit and spacious. One especially unique element is an engineered panel feature wall that greets guests when they step out of the elevator. The client liked the wall so much that they are replicating it in their other locations. All custom millwork and cabinetry was built in Woodard’s millwork shop.
This high rise lobby renovation included the installation of large LED displays throughout the first floor, including an integrated projection display behind the main desk, and updated LED lighting. Woodard Group handled the difficult logistics of extensive work to a main foot-traffic area, coordinating work after-hours and with careful attention to noise-management, site protection, and cleanliness.
A building’s lobby is the ‘face’ of the property—a focal point for tenants and visitors alike. In this lobby remodel, Woodard Group helped this building in downtown Norfolk achieve a major refresh and modernization through custom finishes, Woodard Group millwork—including all wall paneling pictured—and mural photographs of local landmarks. The stark transformation can be seen in the before-and-after pictures below.
The centerpiece of this multi-floor tenant buildout is the private staircase installed by Woodard Group that enables the employees of this tenant to access all three floors which their company occupies without using elevators or the building’s staircase. Additionally, this buildout boasts a modern “open ceiling” concept, a large breakroom with Woodard Group millwork, and custom finishes throughout.
This common area renovation project is representative of Woodard Group’s commitment to collaboration with our clients and local designers/planners to visualize and then construct spaces that are architecturally and aesthetically unique. With unique elements such as custom reclaimed-wood trim, open floorplan concepts, and modern lighting and décor, this is a one-of-a-kind common-area/multi-use space.
This high rise office renovation represents well the capabilities of Woodard Group to perform high-quality tenant improvement work through commitment to high quality materials, finishes, and craftsmanship. This project, located in Norfolk’s Dominion Tower (a Class A commercial building), is also representative of our self-performed millwork fabrication and installation, including the reception desk and breakroom.
