Our History

WKW Construction, LLC (t/a Woodard Group) was founded by Keith Woodard, Jerry Kint, and Nancy Weiss in 1989 and is now an established commercial contractor that serves the greater Hampton Roads, Norfolk, and Virginia Beach region. Keith and Nancy remain partners to this day. Keith Woodard

With over 40 years of commercial construction and development experience, Keith held many positions in the industry prior to forming Woodard Group in 1989. Today, Keith serves as an advisor/consultant for various Woodard Group projects. Occasionally, he will partner with clients for design-build shell projects. Keith’s years of experience, his attention to design detail, and his long-standing relationships in the Hampton Roads area continue to bring value to Woodard Group’s future.

Nancy Weiss

Nancy Weiss, along with Keith, is one of the two principal founders of Woodard Group.  She has worked alongside Keith since Woodard Group’s inception in 1989 after working with him at Turner Development. Nancy has retired, but she still maintains a presence in the office to support the growth and development of Woodard Group.

We are a commercial general contractor that strives to contribute a cost-effective build out that meets our clients’ design intent and also matches their bottom-line financial requirements.

In order to achieve that goal with our tenant improvement and ground-up construction projects, Woodard Group employs a full office staff in addition to its team of field superintendents and cabinet makers. The full team enables Woodard Group to work around the clock to meet the needs of every client.
