With over 40 years of commercial construction and development experience, Keith Woodard held many positions in the industry prior to forming Woodard Group in 1989. Keith worked on a wide range of commercial construction projects between 1975 and 1985 with Turner Construction Company, working as a Superintendent, Engineer, and Project Manager. From February 1985 to April 1989 he oversaw Turner Developments’ Hampton Roads projects.
Today, Keith serves as an advisor/consultant for various Woodard Group projects. Occasionally, he will partner with clients for design-build shell projects. Keith’s years of experience, his attention to design detail, and his long-standing relationships in the Hampton Roads area continue to bring value to Woodard Group’s future.
Nancy Weiss, along with Keith, is one of the two principal founders of Woodard Group. She has worked alongside Keith since Woodard Group’s inception in 1989 after working with him at Turner Development. Nancy is an integral part of Woodard Group’s day-to-day operations. She is responsible for project billing, accounting, legal documentation, and various other administrative duties. Additionally, she serves as the company’s HR representative and handles all employee benefits.
Brian Bolger was born and raised in upstate New York where he learned a myriad of construction skills through his father’s family business. Throughout his career, he has worked in both residential and commercial construction. Brian started working at Woodard Group in 2008 as a superintendent and assistant project manager. Since then Brian’s role at Woodard Group has expanded greatly and he now works as a project manager, personally overseeing millions of dollars of annual tenant-improvement work.
Mike Eisenburger came to Woodard Group in 2005 after serving in the U.S. Army for eight years. A graduate of nearby Old Dominion University and a Hampton Roads native, Mike is one of the most well-respected members of the Woodard Group team. Sub-contractors and clients alike benefit from his careful attention to detail. Frequently, his diligent estimating saves thousands of dollars in project costs, mitigates unforeseen project creep, and eliminates the need for costly change orders.
Director of Shop Operations
A native of Virginia Beach, Brad Stoughton has worked as a commercial cabinetmaker for over twenty-five years. Brad owned and managed his own shop for many years before becoming the chief fabricator at another large commercial shop. Brad came to Woodard Group in 2018 and has proven to be an invaluable member of the team by bringing his years of experience, his commitment to excellent craftsmanship, and his attention to detail in both his work and communication with clients.
Ian came to Woodard Group in 2019, and his roles include contract review/creation, payables and receivables administration, account maintenance, payroll and benefit package oversight, and cost analysis performance.
Assistant Project Manager
Andrew Stroud came to Woodard Group after graduating from college in 2014. He first worked in the Woodard cabinet shop before working as a field superintendent on a variety of projects. Andrew has worked extensively with one of Woodard Group’s main medical clients. He currently oversees multiple projects a year, including several from their initial estimating phase to their final closeout.
Director of Marketing & Customer Care
Edward began working at Woodard Group in July 2021. His role is to lead Woodard Group marketing initiatives, develop current online content, meet with potential clients, and work with the Woodard staff to plan and implement business strategies for the company.
